Technical briefing House of Representatives Committee

The Knowledge Platform was invited on 16 June 2021 by the permanent committee of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate to give a technical briefing. Tom Postmes and Nienke Busscher gave a presentation based on a position paper and then answered questions from the committee.

In this position paper they discussed three themes from the recently released publication Insight into Impact. It contains core findings and questions for the future: about the task at hand in Groningen, about recovery, and about what we can learn from the Groningen gas extraction for other energy projects. They also shared their vision on how to proceed in Groningen and discussed the role of the Knowledge Platform.
